Omaha goes wild for #VolleyballYourWay

 

Omaha, USA, July 26, 2015 – Electric. That is the only way the atmosphere in the venue at the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Finals Omaha 2015 can be labelled, especially when USA are on the court. And fans have been getting in on the action thanks to #VolleyballYourWay.

The FIVB’s campaign to encourage fans to play volleyball anywhere, anytime and any how has landed in Omaha, and the crowd have been loving it.




Huge balloons are letting the fans show the players how they #VolleyballYourWay with children trying to keep the ball flying.

"I think they were trying to keep them around the group,” said one father. “They take off quick. They loved it. It was good.

“It’s great to see the tournament as well, the best of the best in the world.”

 




The players have also been connecting with supporters, which has proved popular among the Omaha faithful.


Madelein Keiller, who played volleyball in high school was lucky enough to set a few balls with USA’s Kim Hill.

“It was really cool. She was really sweet,” she said. “I think it helps bring it all together and show we’re all here to support USA.”
