China coach Lang Ping: We were serious to win this game. We trained on both offense and defense to be competitive with Italy. Our team is young but has a lot of promise for the future.
China captain Hui Ruoqi: It was a tough match. We had to work very hard. The Italy team is strong. We used more teamwork today on our passing and that was the difference.
