I know this is not real Croatia, says Netherlands coach Guidetti

Porec, Croatia, July 5, 2015 - The Netherlands dominated the match against Croatia winning it in straight sets (25-17, 25-11, 25-13) to stay unbeaten with three wins at the top spot in Pool J.

Croatia coach Angelo Vercesi: I would like to offer my apology to Croatian fans, because we didn't achieved any victory here in Porec. We gave our best, but the Netherlands were far better. We have to develop those young player step by step, and we can't skip steps. Please, don't be to harsh to my team.

Croatia's Iva Jurisic: I'm glad that head coach Vercesi gave me chance to play. But I don't have much reason to be happy with the outcome. I think our approach to match wasn't good enough even though the Netherlands were favourite.

Netherlands coach Giovanni Guidetti: We didn't even played very well, but it must be said that this is not real Croatia. This is young domestic team, they can't play at high level. I know that things will be much different when Poljak, Jerkov, Milos and other Croatia's star players are back. I expect significantly better Croatia at the European Championships in September.

Netherlands' Maret Balkestein-Grothues: So far we used to play tight matches with Croatia. Today, we were having superior serving and we stayed focused until last point. Now, we are going to the other side of the world, to Argentinian city of Formosa. There we will play to secure the spot in the Final Four.
