Samokov, Bulgaria, July 11, 2015 - Puerto Rico's Sheila Ocasio said focus would be important after her team marched to a 3-1 victory against the Czech Republic today.
Sheila Ocasio, Puerto Rico: "The match was good for us. Today we started a little slow, but after that we played better and won. We had two pretty matches, we had to be sure to win this game, so we could go to the Finals in Poland. Our next opponent here are Bulgaria. They beat us in Puerto Rico in front of our fans. So we came here for revenge, but it is going to be a tough match. We just need rest now and focus for tomorrow."
Senna Usic, Croatia captain: "First, congratulations to Puerto Rico. They played better than us. For us, this tournament is great to get more international experience. After the first set, we did not have enough energy and concentration to finish the long rallies in key moments."
Jose Mieles, Puerto Rico coach: "I’m happy with the victory today. This win qualified us to the final round in Poland. In the first set we made so many errors. The organization of our game in the other three sets was better and that helped us to defeat Croatia."
