Samokov, Bulgaria, July 12, 2015 - Czech Republic defeated Croatia 3-1 (25-12, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21) and qualified for the Final Four.
Czech Republic coach Carlo Parisi: Final Four is for us a good result! We know that our team is not complete. But we will improve to the Final Round. We will play against strong teams. I don’t who will be our opponents. We will see. I’m happy and I want my team to take courage for the future.
Czech Republic captain Helena Havelkova: I’m happy with our qualification for the final round. Today we knew that we need only one set to go through. Like I told you yesterday all teams here are really on a similiar level and it was difficult to play but I’m happy that we reached the second place.
Croatia captain Senna Usic: That was our last match in 2015 World Grand Prix. For us this tournament was really just an experience for the future and especially for the young players. Now we will have two, three weeks rest and then we will start to prepare for the European Championships which is main goal for a Croatian national team this summer. I hope that every injured player will come back and we will be in best form for the tournament.
Croatia coach Angleo Vercesi: Czech Republic deserved to qualify, because they managed to keep the same level in two rounds. As for my team, young players get important experience for the future. Now we start to think about the preparation for the European Championships.
