"I'm absolutely satisfied," says Brazil coach Barros

Brazil put in an all-round team performance, said Barros

Catania, July 17, 2015 – Brazil head coach Paulo do Rego Barros said his was “absolutely satisfied” with his side’s performance, as they beat Belgium 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-23) in their FIVB Grand Prix match on Friday.“It was an excellent result, and it was great that so many young players worked in the right way, too,” said Barros. “We are absolutely satisfied with our performance. I'm so proud when my team work hard, and apply suggestions well.”Brazil’s Ana Carolina Da Silva added: “It was a really great win against an important team like Belgium, who are strong, with an incisive game strategy and good defence.”Belgium head coach Gert Vande Broek said “Despite the result, we are happy with our game. It was not easy to play against a team like Brazil. Too many errors from each player compromised our game, but we played better, especially during the third set.”Belgium Laura Heyrman added: “At the beginning we started slowly and didn’t find our rhythm – but we improved our performance, especially during the third set.”
