Hong Kong, China, July 17, 2015 – China claimed the victory over Japan in straight sets (25-13, 25-20, 25-17) at Hong Kong Stadium on Friday evening.
China coach Lang Ping: It was an exciting game against Japan team. Japan played very well. Defense can be improved and we need to work on our organization of attacks.
China captain Hui Ruoqi: It was an easier game tonight as we made some adjustments in our strategies. We are fully prepared based on the last match and our team played with unity. We need to work on our defense and hope that we could make improvements tomorrow.
Japan coach Masayoshi Manabe: Congratulations to China team. We learnt a lot of skills in defense and attacks from this strong Asian team.
Japan captain Saori Kimura: Our reception was not working very well. We hope to have better performance tomorrow against Thailand.
