 Kyla first appearance with Team Canada was on the Youth
National Team in 2003. She then went on to make the Junior National Team in
2005 & 2006 before joining the Senior Team in 2008.   She’s been on the squad ever since. 

She spent her university volleyball career with the
University of British Columbia Thunderbirds. 
She was apart of an incredible team that won 5 National Championships in
a row in the Canadian Interunivesity Sport league (the CIS)!  (from 2007-2012, the team also won in
2013).  Kyla was the MVP of the
tournament in 2009 and was the Player of the Year for the league in 2012.   She also won numerous All-Star awards
throughout her five years of playing in the CIS.

Kyla has played professionally in Germany for SC Potsdam (12-2013) and in Turkey for Yesilyurt (13-2014). This past season she started her professional season in Italy playing for Urbino and then transferred back to Germany to play for Rote Raben Vilsbiburg.  This season she's on her way to recording 100 matches with Team Canada, as she is currently at 92 international matches. 

Kyla was born in raised (and still resides) in a very small
town called Robert’s Creek in British Columbia, Canada.
