The comeback in the third set was crucial for our victory – Havelkova

 

Lublin, Poland, August 2, 2015 – Listen what the coaches and players said after Sunday’s third place match of the World Grand Prix Group 2 Finals in Lublin, Poland.

Czech Republic captain Helena Havelkova is proud of her team's performance and ability to improve their level throughout the match against Puerto Rico. For the 2015 World Grand Prix Group 2 Final Four rookies the 3rd place is a huge success, says Havelkova.



Czech Republic coach Carlo Parisi admits that his team developed massively, going from World Grand Prix Group 3 to being the third-best team of the Group 2 within just 2 years. The potential of his young squad is being used to the maximum. 



Czech outside hitter Tereza Vanzurova comments on the Czech Republic performance during the match against Puerto Rico. The team had a few ups and downs, but a strong motivation in the locker room before the 3rd set paid off for the Czechs. 



Puerto Rico coach Jose Mieles shares his disappointment of leaving the competition with two losses. The team needs a bit of rest to recharge before the next challenge - qualifying to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. 



Puerto Rico captain Yarimar Rosa praises her team's fighting spirit and a good performance of the second setter, Natalia Valentin, but she can't be satisfied with the result. Rosa is sure that her team will take a lesson from this loss.
