Carlo Parisi unhappy with too many Czech mistakes

 

The Czech Republic's coach thinks his team should have played better in the first and the fourth sets

Porec, Croatia, July 3, 2015 – Post-match statements from the Netherlands vs. Czech Republic 3-1 in FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2015:

Giovanni Guidetti, head coach of the Netherlands:  ”I saw good improvement in our game during this match, particularly in attacking. My team is still in a learning process, so I can say I am happy with this victory.”

Anne Buijs, player of the Netherlands:  ”It was a nice game for us.  We played well in the start and then some mistakes showed up. There were lots of ups and downs in our game, but we still made it!”

Carlo Parisi, head coach of the Czech Republic:  ”Congratulations to the Netherlands’ team!  We have had few bright moments in this match, but overall we made too many mistakes.  I cannot say I am disappointed, but I think we should have played better in the first and the fourth sets.”

Pavla Vincourova, player of the Czech Republic:  ”We did not play badly, but in the decisive moments the other team was better.  Tomorrow is a new day and we will play a new match.  I think we can play better and win against Croatia.”
