Hong Kong, China, July 18, 2015 - Japan beat Thailand 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-15) in Pool H, with a superior blocking and serving performance helping them claim maximum points.

Manabe: "We are happy to play against
Thailand today. We both come from Asia and neither team has advantage in terms
of height, but we do learn a lot from this encounter. We hope we can make use
of this experience and play better in the upcoming games."
Japan captain Saori Kimura: "The Thailand team is very tough that we always have
to plan complex strategies. Our effective blocking led us to the triumph today."
