Omaha, USA, July 24, 2015 - Brazil were pushed hard in the first two sets by Japan before registering the 25-21, 25-23, 25-16 victory on Friday afternoon in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.

Brazil coach Paulo do Rego Barros: "Today was very different. Every skill worked very well. We needed a good serve, and yesterday we did not work well."


Brazil captain Dani Lins: "I think I didn't play well yesterday. But today was a different day and a different match."


Japan coach Masayoshi Manabe: "We lost against a really high Brazilian block."


Japan player Miyu Nagaoka: We didn't play points in the final parts of the second set and that was a turning point in the game.
