Italia captain Valentina Arrighetti after Belgium victory
Ankara, Turkey, July 4, 2015 - Italy gained a victory (25-15, 25-17, 25-20) in straight sets against Belgium in 2015 World Grand Prix.
Italy coach Marco Bonitta: "We played like the first game. We played high level. I am satisfied because yesterday we were good but sometimes we lost our focus. Today our motivation was better. We will see what happen tomorrow against Turkey."
Italy captain Valentina Arrighetti: "We are very happy to win this match. We did exactly what we talked this morning while studying Belgium. I am proud of my team. Yesterday we played good also against USA. Today we managed to win three points. I hope that we can do the same tomorrow."
Belgium coach Gert Vande Broek: "Congratulations to Italy. They made a good analysis from yesterday. They hurt us with serves and block. It was difficult to score especially at the beginning. We kept fighting. It is a challenge for all team to look for solutions. That is what we will do."
Belgium captain Charlotte Keys: "We knew that this game will be a difficult one. Italy has a very strong team. Our serves were worse than yesterday so they played their game. We can learn a lot from today."
