China ended Pool H without losing a game

Hong Kong, China, July 18, 2015 – China beat USA 3-2 (22-25, 25-13, 25-22, 19-25, 15-12) in a hard-fought battle at Hong Kong Coliseum on Saturday evening.

China coach Lang Ping:
"I appreciate players from
both teams for delivering such a captivating game. It is a meaningful training
for us to play under the tough fixture. We are eager to find out areas of
enhancement through further competition."China captain Hui Ruoqi: "We
and the US team are very familiar with each other and it is always a hard
battle whenever we meet. The game was of a high level, despite the players getting exhausted in the face of the tight schedule. We have room for improvements
in various area and we will strive to improve ourselves."

USA coach Karch Kiraly: "Congratulations to China,
it was a nice win. It wasn’t an easy match for either team. In a tough
environment we enjoyed it even not in our way, that’s the reason why I coach and why
we play. We look forward to more improvements in the US team."

USA captain Christa Harmotto Dietzen: "Congratulations to the
Chinese team. It was a great match. This is the fifth time we have come
across each other; four times in the US. We look forward to our next game in the
finals. The Chinese team has quite a number of weapons, not limited to number eight, 12
and two. We are a bit disappointed but we will take this as a lesson and we hope
to play better next week."
