Saitama, Japan, July 10, 2015 - Italy's coach Marco Bonitta was please with his side's fightback as they edged a close encounter with hosts Japan 3-2, coming from behind to take the win. Japan coach Masayoshi was sad that her side could not win in front of their home crowd

Italy coach Marco Bonitta - "We won the first set easily. The rest of the match was full of strength, heart and pride which led us to the victory. Koga is a young player but has good technical skills. In the future she will be great. Miyabe changed the match. I think Japan has found a great player."

Japan coach Masayoshi Manabe "We were planning to win today but our strategy couldn't do it. I am really sad about this."

Italy captain Valentina Arrighetti - "It was really a long match. We spent a lot of energy but I am really happy. We came back from 2-1 down to win, so it was a good result. Our attitude changed after the third set and that made the difference."

Japan captain Saori Kimura - "Today was our first match at home and we lost, but our young players played really hard."

Japan player Sarina Koga - "I regret that we lost. I was blocked on some key points. I am going to try harder going forward.

Japan player - Airi Miyabe "I'm sorry we lost, but we can improve on many points. We have to analyze our play and work on it."
