Japan coach Manabe: Concentration was the key factor

Saitama, Japan July 11, 2015 - Japan defeated Dominican Republic in straight sets (25-19, 25-12, 25-15). Saori Kimura and Yuki Ishii were the winners' best scorers with 10 points apiece.

Japan coach Masayoshi Manabe: This match was different than yesterday. All the players were really concentrated from the beginning. We had far fewer mistakes today. I slightly changed the starting lineup today to give some key players rest.

Japan captain Saori Kimura: We were sad after yesterday's match. We succeeded in retrieving our motivation today.

Dominican Republic coach Cristian Cruz: It was a difficult match for us. We are a young team with few veterans. Japan is very good technically. We will continue our work to improve.
