Ankara, Turkey, July 3, 2015 - In the second game of Pool C, Belgium managed a straight-set 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-23) win against home team Turkey.

Belgium's
coach Gert Vande Broek:
"I congratulate my team. They played a real good game
with team spirit. We have some injuries and this victory in this environment is
a big experience for us. We started World Grand Prix Group 1 with a win. This is
history for Belgium. Turkey was very good in the European Games so this performance
is normal for them. We were waiting for this match to show that we deserved
more in the European Games. I have respect for both Turkey and my team."

Belgium's
captain Charlotte Leys:
"We did not expect such an easy game like that. We are
very happy to win our first game in Pool C. We know that the game against
Italy will be
different."

Turkey's
coach Ferhat Akbas:
"This was a really bad game for us. We had big problems, especially
in defence. At the end we were a little better but it was too late. Belgium
fought well. Congratulations to them. We will try to play better tomorrow."

Turkey's
captain Guldeniz Onal:
"We are very sorry. We did not have a good start of the
World Grand Prix. This was the worst game of our team in a long while. But we
are a good team and we believe each other. We will be better."
