Carolina, Puerto Rico, July 3, 2015 – Puerto Rico defeated Canada 3-1 in Pool K of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix on Friday.
Puerto Rico coach Jose Mieles: “My team played this match as we planned it. I think we went down hard in the third set and could not close the match at that moment. I am happy with the result but this is just the beginning, my team has to keep working hard.”
Canada coach Arnd Ludwig: “Puerto Rico were dominant in the service line and I have to improve our reception to be able to create offensive options.”
