After the first set, we lost our energy so we were not able to play good volleyball for all 3 sets. But of course, congratulations to Kazakhstan, they played a really good match. I am only disappointed because in this moment we cannot play in the best that we want. We tried to do our best and in we played good volleyball in some parts of the match so next time, I think we can do something more.”

Algeria captain Fatima Zahra Oukazi said: “It was very difficult for us to play this match. It’s only the truth. We tried to do our best. Maybe we can do some little things to be better in our match tomorrow, to be able to do something more than today.”
