Australia's top scorer Georgina Rowe goes on the attack during her team's 3-0 loss to Kenya
Cheraga, Algeria, July 4, 2015 - Kenya registered back-to-back wins in the World Grand Prix for the first time thanks to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-16) victory over Australia.
Wing spiker Mercy Moim was the star of the show for Kenya, racking up an impressive 19 points in a match that went true to form, with the 19th ranked Kenyans coming out on top against a side 27 rated places below them.
Middle blocker Ruth Jepngetich added a further 11 points, including seven blocks won from 12 attempts.
For Australia – who took Algeria to five sets on Friday – the result stretches their run without a victory in the World Grand Prix to 11 matches. Their standout performer was the Adelaide Storm wing spiker Georgina Rowe, who scored seven points.
